Psychotherapy Precepting

I’m so grateful for the time I spent learning under Jon’s supervision. He created a safe and supportive environment where I felt encouraged to grow, take on challenges, and develop my own clinical style. His feedback was always thoughtful, and his compassion for clients is inspiring. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better mentor, and the skills and confidence I gained from him will stay with me throughout my career.

This rotation was very informative. The clinical hours were very flexible and suited my work schedule perfectly. I appreciated the weekly meetings where we cloud discuss as a group to express new ideas and learn collaboratively.

This clinical experience was very educational. I was able to complete clinical hours on my own time at my own pace. I would highly recommend Diagnosing Hope to any PMHNP student.

I had a positive experience during my psychotherapy rotation. The rotation was very convenient, particularly because I was able to access patient charts at my convenience, which allowed me to balance the rotation with my work schedule effectively. This flexibility made the experience manageable and beneficial.

I had the opportunity to work with Jon on my first clinical rotation for psychotherapy. Being that I work a full time job and raising an energetic 1 year old, I was so happy to find a preceptorship that fitted my busy life. First of all…Thank goodness I was able to find this preceptor because I work full time and theres no way for me to just be off of work for clinicals. Better than that though… I find myself utilizing the therapy style in many different aspects of my personal life and it works great!! Thank you Jon! What a true blessing.
